Ann T. Bugg is the Queen of her castle in central Minnesota where she lives with her Knight in shining armor (who has come to her rescue more than once) and her own little Princess Valerie. The pets in her magical kingdom come in all shapes and sizes, as do all the critters that make their way out of the enchanted forest. She enjoys long walks with her dogs, but writing will always be her first love...

...well, writing and cute cartoon men. :D

Little Mermaid was one of my daughter's favorite movies when she was little. I really fell for Eric in #2. He's such a good daddy!

I did have a prequel started with mermaids, not sure if it'll make it's way to #9 in the series or not...

Of course... Beast as a human. I'll say it again, this is one story I will not touch!

If you ever see these - e-mail me!! They are a must have for sure!

I have picked up an old hobby lately. Of course you can only make me crochet if the pattern is really, really cute :)

Yes, there's a "B" on his chest. That's because he's MY minion. Muuaahhhhhh :)

Some of the critters of the books.

Leroy Ringo Charlie Buckwheat

and Otter in the background

If you've read #2 & wondered...yes, Charlie is really blind in one eye & inspired the story.

There’s no secret to the reason I write these books. I have always loved stories with fairy tales re-told. It seemed like a natural course to take when I saw the possum in the barn & the 1st story came to mind. I took off running with these tales of my daughter, Valerie, and her best friend, Samantha. They grow a year older with each tale, as do their antics & shenanigans. I hope parents all over don't want to beat me when their children start mimicking the girls & their little "ditties."

At around the time the 1st book was written, Val & I were on at least our 12th viewing of our favorite mini-series:

These books were completed for years on my laptop before this series started, much to our delight:

We’re faithful fans – even my husband joins in. I delight when he mistakenly calls it ‘Happily Ever After' each week without fail.

A lot darker, but still really cool, we have also gotten into this:

LOVED this movie. I watch it often. "Prime Merlinian" - Pure. Genius.

I love Ella Enchanted & watch it often when I have the TV to myself.

So… pretty much anything goes in our home, as long as fairy tale is the theme.

Always top spot, however, is this one…I don’t think the name is even needed. If you have not seen this movie, you should probably leave my site. LOL
